Like all the churches within Lindos, St. Georges survives from the medieval era. Located on one of the beach road, it faces the sea with great views of Lindos Bay. The pretty whitewashed church stands within a walled area with steps leading to an open courtyard that surrounds the building. Typically a cross-in square style church with a dome, St. Georges was built and decorated by a priest and his wife. This is a perfect spot for couples who would like to marry within the village itself.
