Orfaniou St 44 Niohori Town of Rhodes

The most beautiful bar on Orfanidou St, and one of the few in Niohori that also attracts Greek crowd. All the fans of clubbing gather here. Impressive multilevel building - quieter ambience inside with small couches; outside you can also watch the world go by. Giorgos, the owner of the Boulevard, also has the creperie next door, an essential stop on your way to bed

Hammam
Aischylou St 26 Old Town of Rhodes

Acropolis
On road from square down to sea, Lindos

Historic Lindos disco, where all of Rhodes used to gather on Saturday night. Classic summertime setting: large garden with bar in the middle and little tables dotted around under the trees. You might come across the daughter of David Gillmore here dancing in her sarong, as well as lots of Italians and locals.

Lindian House
On the main road of Lindos, just past the pharmacy

Nikos Chronopoulos has converted a superb old mansion into a very distinctive bar. Ideal place to chill out, whether in the atmospheric interior or the concealed-lighting courtyard behind. The painted ceiling in this impressive 14th century house is a genuine work of art. The best place to sit is probably the patio overlooking the entrance, with its carved stone chains. They serve breakfast, snacks and Greek food, and there is also a special menu for children.

Lindos by Night
Ioanni Zigdi St Lindos

One of the most popular bard in town of Lindos mainly thanks to the superb view from its terrace. Drop in just before sunset to enjoy it.

Chaplin's

Faliraki, on the seafront Classic beach bar in enclosed premises with Charlie Chaplin mrmotabilia and TVs palying everything from cartoons to football matches. Little tables out on the seafrony. Most of stuff and customers are English, but you will also see a few local people. Coktails in all sizes and colors, as well as a big variety of bottled drinks, which the customers consume from the morning onwards.

Huge underground club with two stages: trance, house, R&B, hip- hop. Young , mainly, foreign crowd - chiefly Brithish tourists- that keeps the action going on till dawn.

Taj Mahal

Hot fashion mainstream club that has changed the city's whole nightlife scene. Stunning interior, with a n ethnic feel in the d?cor and the music, replacing the old La Scala. It belongs to the chain of club-restaurants with branches in Thessaloniki and Athens. Great events with famous DJs. Fans of the oriental style are particularly enthusiastic - and judging by the way it is always pack, there are scads of them!

Havana

One of the busiest bars on the bar street, the clientele almost entirely made up by local people. All the most fashionable people in Rhodes drop in to enjoy a drink to the sound of the fantastic upbeat music selected by DJ Christoforos. An atmospheric interior (stone, wood, mirrors and candles) and stools with cushions out on the street

The Mojo Bar

Esperinos
Maritsa, Ixia

A beautiful stone house with a traditional wooden ceiling, hosts friendly and popular haunt at Maritsa village. The choice of music depends on the regular customers' mood. Arty music, rock, rembetiko and even wild fun Greek pop latest hits. Live gigs organized each Thursday. Several well-known Greek artists have been seen here at times.

Esperinos Music Cafe
Menejkeous St 22 Old Town of Rhodes

One of the loveliest cafe bars in the old town, on the road leading into Arionos Square. It follows in the footsteps of the esperionos club in Maritsa. Atmospheric setting with ethnic and medieval touches, and carefully chosen music. Open from 11:00 for coffee in the courtyard (with the divans) and until late at night. Happenings and special evenings with guest DJs.

Baduz
Menejkeous St 34 Old Town of Rhodes

Very atmospheric cafe bar on Arionos Sq, the new nightlife centre of Rhodes town. The decor, like the name, is inspired by the old baths, and the music is mainly ethnic, The wooden settles in the courtyard are perfect for an afternoon game of backgammon or just relaxing. The marble basins are a delightful touch.

Miltiadou St 2 Old Town of Rhodes

This was the very first bar to open on Miltiadoy St and started the fashion for bar life in the medieval town. Ultra atmospheric feeling: candles, low lighting, an upper area for more intimacy and a strong mediaeval charm provided by the untouched interior with its old stone. Attractive clientele (many artists) jazz, funk and ethnic music. It is open during the winter, too, when it is more like a haunt for groups of friends with movie screenings accompanied by live music as week as a video art festival.
